Join Audrey Fforbes-Hallaton, Burbage, her faithful butler and Richard DeLeire the new Lord of the Manor as they show us the workings of a real manor court. Discover some surprising facts about manors and find out who is really “to the manor born”!
There will be an exhibition and opportunity for children of all ages to try writing with a quill pen or designing a shield. Staff from the Record Office will be happy to answer your questions about manors and other records available.
The performance starts at 2 pm and lasts for 25 minutes. Followed by questions and quill pens – just drop in.
